My name is Jess! I grew up in Plymouth, MI and started my photography business in 2013 while going through nursing school. My first nursing job was at the University of Michigan in Pediatric Psych, I totally loved it. In 2018 decided I wanted to travel and see more of this beautiful country, so I moved to Estes Park, CO, where I lived for 3 years. The clients and the photography in Colorado are incredible! I was living a dream. That is also where I met my husband, Eric, while we were both working as nurses at a drug rehab/detox facility.

We decided to start travel nursing and built a van! We moved to Washington… then Montana… then decided to elope in Deadwood, SD! Then after the absolute insane year of 2020, we decided it was time to take a break from nursing and settle down in little ol’ Babbitt, MN in 2021 for 3 years. We decided to move… again! So we bought a house in Harrisville Michigan, we have some land and are learning to homestead!

I have two pitties - Rue and Olive - and a fluffy orange cat named Onion! He is a menace and I love him!

I love animals and nature. I love camping, hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking. I also love collecting and growing lots of plants. I’m crafty and love my Cricut. I’m a homebody and love spending time at home with my hubs and animals.

As far as my career path, I don’t really know. My life is always changing and who can say what is next!
